Standards Driven for Accessibility

We take accessibility on the web very seriously. More than that we strive to work to the highest standards possible as set by the W3C. We have devised in-house frameworks that ensure our websites comply with latest Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) guidelines.

The power of the Web is in its universality. Access by everyone regardless of disability is an essential aspect." - Tim Berners-Lee, W3C Director and inventor of the World Wide Web

Website Design for Everyone

We understand the things that really matter that go way beyond just being able to display a compliance badge. We don't aim just to comply for our own egos. With an estimated 8.5 million disabled users of the internet in the UK, it would be rude not to be doing it for their needs:

  • Website Design - We ensure our website design is flexible (for adding additional content) and that your brand is kept consistent throughout. We also design for your audience. Size of text, colour contrast, etc. are all issues that need to be translated onto the web effectively.
  • Content for All - We use CSS, splitting content from style. This allows for your website to be seen (or read in the case of screen readers for the blind) on multiple devices.
  • Semantic Web Structure - Your web pages are 'tagged' so that they make sense. Not just to the user on screen, but for the myriad of devices that come into contact with your website. These include search engines that try to make 'sense' of the words on your web page.
  • Website Usability - Just because it makes sense to one person, doesn't mean it can't be made better. We test websites to ensure that the people who use them can fully understand how they work. We implement website usability testing that help us make your website better for the people actually using it.
